Our sports program promotes the integral development of our students through sports activities and teamwork, it promotes self-discipline, a healthy sense of competition, and the development of motor skills through routines and sports disciplines of different categories.

Early Childhood students learn skills that foster the development of their gross and fine motor skills, according to their development at each stage.

Students from 1st to 10th grade can choose from the 7 sports electives offered by the school in which they wish to participate:

  • Badminton
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Chess
  • Soccer
  • Rhythmic Gymnastics
  • Artistic Gymnastics

We are part of the different National Federations corresponding to these disciplines, which provides our athletes with the opportunity to compete on a higher level.

At the beginning of each period, the school carries out a Sports Draft in which students undergo physical, biochemical, ophthalmological, and anthropometric tests; and, in a second stage, they make presentations in front of sports evaluators and recruiters from universities and clubs. These experts indicate the athletic abilities of the students and recommend which sports teams they could participate in.

Every year our teams participate in competitions of their respective sports nationally and internationally throughout the year, including the competitions in which we host:

  • Copa Amistad
  • Grand Prix of Volleyball
  • Grand Prix of Futsal
  • New Horizons March Madness

We have a highly trained team of coaches and specialists for every sport, our priority is the integral development of athletes, linking the academic and sport aspects.

E-Sports also have a place within the sports offer we have, where athletes can compete at our annual Gaming Fest.

Our sports facilities are a point of reference in school sports throughout the country, with New Horizons being the home of school sports.
