At our institution, we are committed to ensuring that each student has the opportunity to develop their confidence and skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Our robotics program makes this possible with the help of the partner company RICOH and its “Kid Spark Education program”. Through these programs our students begin to explore applied mathematics, engineering, and robotics, gaining confidence in their ability to use technology to design solutions to everyday problems.
Our robotics program takes part in our science and computer classes, as well as an after school club and summer camp. In these classes students use multiple technologies to create systems solutions, applying concepts of physics, mathematics, and 3D printing, and through robotics, they see a practical perspective of programming concepts.
